The University of Queensland
The University of Queensland is a large public comprehensive university founded in 1909 and located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is a five-star university. As a member of Australia’s eight prestigious universities and one of the six Sandstone Universities, the University of Queensland is also a member of Universität 21, an international research university network. The initial charter of the University of Queensland was based on the charter of Birmingham University, one of the British Red Brick Universities. The University of Queensland currently has 4,039 advanced research degree students, including 3,593 PhD students. In 2010, 534 senior researchers received awards. The University of Queensland has the most cutting-edge research and provides students with the most advanced learning space.
